「乳母捨て山」の話聞いたことありますか？

年老いた親を、子どもが背負って山に捨てるというやつです。
大昔、貧しさから本当にその風習があったそうです。
そしてこんなことがありました。

背負われている間、親は山の木の枝を折って落としましました。

やせこけた腕を一生懸命のばして、一本一本、折り続けました。

山奥に着き、自分を捨てて去っていく我が子に、親は言いました。


「目印に木の枝を折ったから迷わずに下るんだよ」
